- Upon sailing into the territorial waters of the Republic of Croatia boat captains are obliged to use the shortest route to the nearest international port of call in order to pass the border control and obtain a vignette at the harbour masters office or a branch office.
- Stari Grad Port is on south side of Stari Grad bay.
